Please read the following vital information before shopping to avoid confusion.

When you purchase the Sample Squad's products, you are putting money straight into the hands of the developer who made the samples, and they are your point of contact for praise or criticism of the materials. Feel free to offer more compensation when you buy if you feel it is warranted. Upon making a sale, affiliate developers pay the Sample Squad's mothership a modest token based on the price of their product. If you tip beyond the retail price, it is not factored into their storefront fees.

And please don't share their hard work as is common in warez circles. Thanks!

NOTE: Make sure you have added the following email address to you list of contacts so that the download information will not be flagged as spam:

immortalchorus@yahoo.com

Contacting Sample Squad with a different email address other than the one you used to pay us with via Paypal will only confuse matters. We add that email address to our 'safe' list upon receiving your payment--using another address increases the odds that we won't get your communication or that we'll have to do detective work to associate it with the initial payment email. Sorry, but that's just the age we live in now. I don't like it either.

Also, please note that each developer has their own Paypal shopping cart and you can buy multiple products from a single developer all at once. However, purchases from multiple developers must take place as separate transactions even though all the "View Cart" buttons look the same. Please accept our apologies for this inconvenience and potentially confusing scenario. We'll upgrade to a more seamless experience as soon as it is financially feasible to do so.

Delivery of your product will take place in the form of a special download link. After a successful transaction, you'll be directed to a page with more detailed instructions on when to expect delivery and how to register your new pack.

Pakistani Frame Drum - by Shane Sanders

The Pakistani Frame Drum pack contains 32 powerful and subtle samples from an 18" frame drum imported from Pakistan. It is played with various hand techniques and mallets for a truly wide palette of sounds. It also contains a few heavily edited and pitch-shifted hits which can serve as Native American war drums, kicks, and even bongos. The resonance on some of these samples is amazing, allowing for very creative pitch envelopes. With a careful approach, one could emulate talking drums or create some bizarre tonal fills if the drum is played backward.

Available in the following formats:

Wav @ 32bit 44.1KHz.

Price: $3.49 US

Bodhrán - by Shane Sanders

The Bodhrán pack contains 21 dynamic and detailed samples from an 18" frame drum played with various hand techniques for a sound somewhere between a typical bodhrán and a tar. Tests have confirmed that it retunes quite well over a decent range, so you'll be able to make the body resonance an ally in your mix.

Available in the following formats:

Wav @ 32bit 44.1KHz.

Price: $3.49 US

Dumbek - by Shane Sanders

PSYOPS - by Shane Sanders

The PSYOPS pack contains 65 samples geared toward ambient, glitch, and DnB artists. This set is very musical and each sample was created with the entire set in mind with a full array of bright tics and short bursts that make excellent stutters and accents. The result is a kit that provides a full palette of timbres that will shine in your productions when traditional percussion just won’t do the trick. This kit sparkles when treated with intelligent delay lines and some emulated tube overdrive.

Wav & Aif @ 16bit 44.1KHz.

MECH - by Shane Sanders

The MECH pack contains 65 samples with both organic and ominous qualities. These samples bite, crush, and mangle! And two of them bark—literally. Put them to work in your productions as strong accents in your syncopated lines or edit them further— wherever your imagination takes you.

Available in the following formats:

Wav & Aif @ 16bit 44.1KHz.

Price: $3.49 US

ZTOIIX - by Luke Skirenko

The ZTOIIX 75-piece percussion pack was created to fulfill the need for ultra-upfront percussion in an electro-glitch style. The sounds exhibit an extreme stereoism that brings them right to the front of a mix, and when interplayed with ambient pads or heavily reverbed percussion it's easy to create a soundscape of enormous depth. This pack would also find a perfect home in a trip-hop mix as it includes some unusual noise hits that make fine substitutes for traditional crash cymbals—perfect for effecting with tempo-based phasing or flanging.

Available in the following formats:

Wav & Aif @ 16bit 44.1KHz.

Price: $4.99 US
