Shane studied electronic music and film at the University of Tennessee, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree as a College Scholar in 1991. He has released three albums and two EPs of original work.

He specializes in detailed soundscapes and dark ambient works that are at once mysterious, suspenseful, and occasionally romantic, but also enjoys composing eclectic rock and pop-influenced instrumentals.

After the release of his first album, he began offering small commercial sample sets ranging from exotic percussion instruments to materials useful for Glitch, Electro and Drum & Bass practicioners via SampleSquad.com. He is also an occasional columnist for Gibson Guitar's Lifestyle Web site.

Above all, Shane has spent over half his 41 years in life practicing music as a spiritual discipline, giving his all in the hope of creating lasting tone poems that inspire and redeem the time given to them.
